A bikepacking adventure through the mountains of Northern Italy.

Giro del Nord is a true passion project where I was able to combine multiple aspects of interest into one journey. Mountain landscapes, travel planning, road cycling and content creation. The goal was to cycle from Milan to Venice through the mountains of Northern Italy in two weeks. For this adventure I teamed up with Isaac Cycle and Futurumshop in order to create high quality imagery that would fit their brand image. A small crew of friends joined me by car as we embarked on a ride to remember.

At Lago di Como I met Alberto Elli. Alberto is a retired pro cyclist who finished the Tour de France 11 times and enjoyed a long lasting career at the highest level. He now runs a small bike shop at the hotel where we were staying and guides enthousiasts during beautiful rides around the lake.

The roads in the Italian Dolomites are a challenge for any cyclists, but you can find rewards around every corner.

After 1000km and over 15.000m in vertical climb I arrived at my destination in the heart of Venice. Time to put the bike away and give the legs their well deserved rest.
